Meet Marissa
Marissa has been with me through some of my toughest moments. When I was injured in the military she took care of me, she was patient with me when I didn’t know who I was or who I wanted to be, and she heeded my advice when I finally out who I was and wanted to move our family in different directions. She’s the head baker for our cottage bakery and the backbone of our homeschooling.
I don’t think we’d be where we are without her.

Anfernee has accomplished so much over the past few years to build a strong foundation for our family. He has motivated and encouraged us as we've worked to grow our farmstead. His hard work and vision has helped shape our farmstead into what it is today. I love how deeply he cares about others and his desire to be part of the change in our food system. I'm grateful for the example he sets for our family!

Vision:
Most people today have no real connection to the food they eat. Grocery store shelves are lined with products that have traveled thousands of miles, loaded with preservatives and grown using factory farming methods that deplete the land and sacrifice quality. Many families want better options but don’t know where to find them.
That’s where Big Nuff Homestead comes in.
We offer an alternative to mass-produced, disconnected food systems by providing a local, and sustainable source of high-quality food. Whether it’s eggs from roaming chickens, pork from heritage breed pigs, or vegetables grown without synthetic chemicals, our customers know exactly where their food comes from and how it was produced.
For those who want to take their food independence further, we also provide education, consulting, and hands-on experiences to help families learn how to grow and raise their own food.
